Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Lossless (“the Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or otherwise use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email; continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised access. Lossless is not liable for losses caused by unauthorised account use that you did not promptly report.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Account information you provide must be accurate.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any law or regulation; (b) infringe on intellectual property or privacy rights of others; (c) upload, post, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful; (d) attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service; (e) use automated means to scrape, probe, or test the platform without prior written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, are engaged in prohibited conduct.

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Lossless (transcriptions, recordings, posts, comments). By submitting content you grant Lossless a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service and providing it to other users in accordance with the visibility settings you choose.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant the above licence for any content you upload.

Some features of the Service are available through paid subscriptions managed by Stripe. By starting a subscription you authorise Lossless (via Stripe) to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; unused portions of a billing period are not refundable except as required by law.

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, content you uploaded may be removed; subscription cancellation follows the rules in Section 5.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Lossless is currently in an early beta. The Service is under active development: features may change, be suspended, or be removed without notice, interruptions and data loss may occur, and access may be limited or invite-only. Your use of the Service during the beta is at your own risk and subject to this Section 7.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lossless and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Lossless is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
